Important Update COVID-19
We are delighted to inform you that we will be resuming normal service on a phased and gradual basis from Monday 25th May.
Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety. During our transition to providing routine treatment again, Fortfield Dental will be following the government, HPSC and Irish Dental Council guidelines at all times.
As a result, and to ensure the safety of dentists, staff and patients alike, Fortfield Dental has implemented a number of measures, including the following:
- Staggered & lengthened appointments
- Pre-appointment screening
- Staff and patient temperature checks
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Aerosol reduction measures
- Increased infection prevention & control (IPC) processes
- Addition of air purifier machines
- Installation of Perspex screen for reception
If you book an appointment to see us in the near future, please note that we will need to ask you some pre-appointment screening questions on the phone prior to your appointment, and we will need to take your temperature on arrival with a non-contact infrared thermometer. We appreciate your cooperation with this. In the weeks ahead, we will be prioritising those patients who had a dental emergency during lockdown who still need treatment. We will also be contacting any patients who had scheduled appointments cancelled due to the lockdown to re-book these appointments.
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. Should you wish to make an appointment, please call us on (01) 4927288.
Thank you for all your patience and understanding over the past difficult time.
